The eagle has landed!

The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania confirmed Saturday that the bald eagles in Harmar have laid their first egg of 2018.

The egg was laid just after 5 p.m. Saturday, according to a release. The eagles’ nest is located on a hillside above Route 28.

In 2017, the Harmar bald eagles laid two eggs, and they both “fledged the nest” in June, the release said.
