Bedbug discovery leading to early dismissal for some South Allegheny students

McKEESPORT, Pa. — A bedbug was found Tuesday at South Allegheny Middle/High School, and students are being sent home early, according to a message on the school district’s website.

“Finding one does not mean that the building is infested, however, in an abundance of caution, SA will have a licensed pest control specialist treat the entire middle/high school including every classroom, the office areas and lockers this afternoon,” the message said.

There will be classes Wednesday for middle and high school students, the message said.
