SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The city of San Diego will pay its ex-mayor's wife $85,000 for a sidewalk fall that ruptured her breast implant.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Cynthia Hedgecock sued the city after she tripped and fell while walking in July of 2015.

The fall ruptured her breast implant, according to NBC Los Angeles.

City representatives disputed the fall happened at the location or caused the damage alleged in the suit.

A jury, however, found that the city did not maintain the sidewalk and fix needed repairs, which led to the fall.

The city will next consider whether to appeal the ruling, according to NBC Los Angeles.
