Overcast conditions ahead of rain for start of work week

Overcast conditions across the area ahead of the next system that will bring rain for the start of the work week. A few sprinkles or showers are possible this evening but with dry air in place most of the wet weather will off until the early morning hours on Monday. Not as cold overnight, lows will be in the upper 40s around 50 degrees.

Soggy start Monday with gray skies and cool temperatures. Highs will only make it to the upper 50s Monday afternoon. Lingering showers continue into Tuesday morning and gray conditions expected through early Wednesday with isolated showers or sprinkles.

Much warmer air hits the forecast by Wednesday afternoon as clouds break and dry weather returns. Great weather expected for outdoor plans the second half of Wednesday through Friday. Highs will be pushing into the upper 70s before the next system brings rain Saturday and average highs back in play for the weekend.
