County reports more than 450 new COVID-19 cases, including 3-month-old child

The Allegheny County Health Department said that 464 new COVID-19 cases were reported as of Saturday, including a 3-month-old child.

Of these, 302 are confirmed cases from 1,414 new PCR tests. There are 162 probable cases. New cases range in age from 3 months to 97 years with a median age of 42 years. The dates of positive tests ranged from Jan. 2 to Jan. 22. Two positive tests are more than a week old.

There was one new death reported. The date of death was Jan. 21. The person was in their 40s.

Since March 14, there have been 66,809 cases of COVID-19 in Allegheny County residents, 3,878 hospitalizations and 1,263 deaths.
