PITTSBURGH — Pitt’s Blue-Gold Spring Game presented by PNC Bank, originally scheduled for April 17, will now be played on April 24 at 1 p.m.
The change was made following the recent week-long practice pause due to COVID-related protocols.
“Postponing the spring game by a week was in the best interest of our players’ health and safety,” Coach Pat Narduzzi said. “We can maximize our practice opportunities by not overloading their personal and academic schedules.”
Pitt Athletics still anticipates the opportunity to host a limited number of fans for the game and ticket information will be announced in the near future. Admission will be free at Heinz Field.
