Fans in the stands: Local schools starting to let people attend football games

PITTSBURGH — Some local school districts will welcome fans back to football games Friday night, just days after a judge ruled Pennsylvania’s gathering limits were unconstitutional.

Right now, Gov. Tom Wolf’s statewide order limiting outdoor gatherings to 25 people and outdoor gatherings to 250 people remains in effect. Wolf said he will appeal the judge’s ruling.

In the meantime, some school districts are taking matters into their own hands when it comes to fans in the stands.
