Scott Medical Health Center, a medical center in Pittsburgh, will pay a former employee to settle the first sexual orientation discrimination lawsuit ever filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
EEOC officials said Dale Massaro was harassed on a daily basic for being gay.
They said he was forced to resign his position after Scott Medical's owner refused to protect him from further harassment.
Massaro will now get more than $55,000 in the settlement.
