Former President Bush to address Eradicate Hate Global Summit in Pittsburgh next week

PITTSBURGH — Former President George W. Bush will address a new summit in Pittsburgh next week aimed at combating hate.

The first-ever Eradicate Hate Global Summit will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center starting on Oct. 18.

President Bush will not be speaking in person, rather will present in a pre-recorded session.

The conference is a result of the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in U.S. history, when a heavily-armed gunman shot and killed 11 people at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Synagogue.
