Mold was found in a Fox Chapel school on Thursday, and Friday classes were subsequently canceled, the district announced.
Officials saw mold in three rooms at Kerr Elementary School, Fox Chapel Area Superintendent Gene Freeman said in a letter to parents.
The school will close so air quality can be tested throughout the school. Officials believe the issue will be resolved for classes to resume normally on Monday.
