Gateway School Board meeting ends before it starts after crowd refuses to wear masks

MONROEVILLE, Pa. — Several members of the Gateway School Board walked off the stage Monday night after people in the crowd refused to wear masks.

According to our partners at TribLIVE.com, people were reminded of the state requirement to wear a mask in all school buildings in Pennsylvania. People in the audience pushed back. There were shouts of freedoms being overlooked and chants directed at people not wearing masks.

Four board members then walked out, adjourning the meeting. It had actually never officially begun.

Board members said the meeting would be rescheduled.
