GLENSHAW — A church in Glenshaw spent a portion of Sunday collecting to benefit the Etna food bank.
Members of Glenshaw Presbyterian Church collected nonperishable items and paper products, which will be donated to Bread of Life Food Pantry, at their Fill-A-Truck event to help feed the hungry.

The increased need for food pantry services during covid-19 has caused a 33% spike in the number of patrons at Bread of Life food pantry in Etna, according to our partners at The Trib.
Bread of Life serves families across the Shaler Area and site offers three distributions a month to help meet demand. About 140 families each month receive a box full of staples such as soup, crackers, peanut butter and produce.
