Halloween in February: ScareHouse opening on Valentine’s Day

PITTSBURGH — Does your valentine like a good scare? ScareHouse in Pittsburgh’s Strip District is opening after months of delays.

Construction and permit delays prevented the haunted house from opening in the fall, but “The Basement” attraction will be up and running for a limited time starting Valentine’s Day weekend.

“All manner of dark and twisted souls have lurked inside these halls since last fall, just waiting for their chance to finally torment your minds, hearts, and souls,” ScareHouse’s website says.

ScareHouse also has the “Stalked by a Killer” escape room. The new Bold Escape Rooms attraction is open year-round.
