Local woman who became first person in U.S. to receive face transplant speaks out

A Steubenville woman became the first person in the United States to receive a face transplant 10 years ago.

She spoke about her life since then Saturday at the Center for Organ Recovery and Education.

CORE says Culp’s successful transplant created a new perspective on how transplants can transform lives.
