Man accused of distributing counterfeit pills made with Fentanyl throughout Allegheny County

PENN HILLS, Pa. — A man has been charged after police said he was allegedly distributing counterfeit Percocet and fentanyl pills throughout Allegheny County.

According to Allegheny County police, the District Attorney’s Narcotics Enforcement Team became aware in May of 2020 that Ledoniae Cole received a shipment of a pill press and a binding agent for pressing pills.

Following their investigation over several months, they learned Cole was allegedly distributing large amounts of the counterfeit pills.

On Feb. 22, Penn Hills police conducted a traffic stop on Cole. At that time, police said they had a warrant for his arrest for a separate incident.

Police said Cole was in possession of powdered fentanyl and counterfeit Percocet pills that were made with fentanyl and crystal meth.

Police said Cole admitted there were more drugs and materials at his home in Penn Hills. Police received a search warrant for his home.

During their search, police said they found two guns, fentanyl powder and counterfeit pills made from fentanyl, marijuana and crystal meth.

Cole has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of possession and two counts of persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms.
