PITTSBURGH — The man accused in the double shooting outside the Giant Eagle in Greenfield last week is in police custody.
Channel 11’s Courtney Brennan has learned Zai Quan Henderson, 21, of Hazelwood turned himself in to police on Friday, a week after the brazen shootout that forced bystanders to run for cover.
Police had an arrest warrant out for Henderson in connection with the shooting that left a man and a woman hospitalized.

Police said they got calls for a “gun battle” after a man and woman were shot in the parking lot at the Giant Eagle on Murray Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman shot.
Henderson's attorney, Elbert Gray, said his client will plead innocent.
"I just brought him in to get him off the street to prevent any risk of injury to him or any law enforcement personnel who were out trying to apprehend him," Gray said. "I thought that was smartest so that no one gets injured in that situation."
