MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — A McKees Rocks man was arrested after police said he attacked another man with a hatchet.
Investigators said William Unrue, 29, was walking with Stephen Balog and another man on a small island in McKees Rocks on Sept. 14 when Unrue and Balog got into an argument.

According to court paperwork, the other man handed Unrue a hatchet that Unrue used to hit Balog on the head.
Unrue and the other man ran away, police said. Balog was taken to the hospital with a laceration to the head. His condition has not been released.
Unrue was arrested a short time later and charged with aggravated assault, officials said.
He’s in the Allegheny County Jail awaiting a preliminary hearing.
