"I'm kind of unsettled and frightened and nervous," said the victim, Douglas Balbach.

Police said a man followed Balbach home from a bank in Homestead more than a week ago. The same man went to Balbach's house, pretending he needed help with his car, police said.

"Not just attempted to rob me, actually succeeded in threatening me with a knife and robbing me," Balbach said.

Channel 11's Michele Newell talked to Balbach not long after that happened. Police said tips started coming in after the story aired.

They were able to identify the suspect as Dyllon Varner.

Before police tracked Varner down, they said he targeted Balbach again.

"Attempting to rob me again but fortunately my neighbors noticed it and called the police," Balbach said.

Balbach is just hoping he can go back to living a life without fear.

Varner was arrested Sunday night in Munhall. He is facing charges of robbery, burglary and theft by unlawful taking.
