Man in critical condition after shooting in Homewood

PITTSBURGH — A man is in critical condition following a shooting in Homewood on Sunday evening.

Pittsburgh police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 8000 block of Frankstown Avenue around 7:55 p.m. They were then notified of a man who was shot nearby.

The victim, who was shot multiple times, was found in the 900 block of Blackadore Street. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police found evidence that the shooting occurred at the intersection of Frankstown Avenue and Wheeler Street.

So far, no arrests have been made.
