State troopers said the victim -- identified as Daniel Grennell, 35 -- was walking in the right lane of the eastbound side, while the Ford F-250 was heading in that same direction.

Investigators said that section of the road has no ambient light, so it was very dark in that area. The truck collided with the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

It’s unclear if any charges will be filed against the driver.
