PITTSBURGH — A man died after he was shot in the head early Monday morning in Pittsburgh’s Homewood South neighborhood.
The 20-year-old victim was located after police received a ShotSpotter notification that two shots were fired about 3:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Brushton Avenue, authorities said.

The man, who is from Shadyside, was pronounced dead just before 6 a.m. at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He has been identified as Jason Estes.
