Man hit, killed by 2 cars after crashing ATV in Mt. Pleasant

MT. PLEASANT TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man was killed when he was struck by two cars after crashing his ATV Saturday in Mt. Pleasant Township, police said.

Timothy Strobel, 39, crashed his ATV about 8:45 p.m. on Route 819, between Brinker and Steeles roads.

According to investigators, Strobel was trying to pick up the ATV in the roadway when he was hit by a Kia Soul traveling southbound and a Ford Escape traveling northbound.

Strobel was pronounced dead at the scene.
