WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Officers stated that they are now looking for a vehicle in connection to a fatal shooting that happened Thursday evening.
The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 6:34 p.m.
Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit detectives investigated the scene. They learned that the man was seated inside a vehicle in front of his residence when he was fired on by an occupant of a vehicle that pulled alongside him.
That vehicle is described as a black Kia Optima sedan bearing an out-of-state license plate. The suspect vehicle sustained ballistic damage, including a shattered rear window.
Anyone with information is asked to avoid the vehicle and call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
A man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after he was shot in the chest in Wilkinsburg.
Police said they were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. to the 1500 block of Marlboro Avenue.
First responders found the 25-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
