The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that, as part of this settlement, Cordisco would be charged with one count of conspiracy for recycling unused drugs.
The former company exec was accused of collecting unused drugs from nursing homes, unpacking and restocking them to fill prescriptions.
Iserve Technologies Inc., which operates out of Med-Fast, was also charged with conspiracy for being a part of the same scheme.
As part of the agreement, Med-Fast, its owner, and other parties involved now have to pay $2.6 million.
