Mother demands answers in son's unsolved murder

PITTSBURGH — Two years after her son was killed feet away from their home, a Garfield mother wants to know why the shooting remains unsolved.

Dalon Williams, 17, was killed in September 2016 after he got off a Community Intensive Supervision Program van in front of his home.

"I stand here where my son died and nothing is still being done. I just need help from somebody," Dalon's mother Malika Williams said.

He was enrolled in CISP after a prior drug offense, although his mother said he wasn’t in the program very long.

Williams also said the bus driver didn't wait to make sure he was safely inside before leaving.

"He made it to the grass dead. When they arrived at their program they gave me a call and said Miss Williams, is Dalon Williams okay? They should have known he wasn't okay, his anklet was still outside," she said.

Pittsburgh police told Channel 11 they are still investigating the case. Williams said she believes gang violence may have led to his death, but police would not comment on that.
