No lye: World’s largest soap bottle to debut at Pittsburgh area event

PITTSBURGH — Move aside rubber duck, the world’s largest soap bottle is the newest oversized attraction to make a stop in the Pittsburgh area.

As part of the Soapbox Giving Tour, the 21 foot bottle of handsoap is being trucked to 16 major cities around the country. Soapbox is giving away bars of soap and hygiene kits in each city to nonprofits, homeless shelters, food pantries and foster homes in need.

If you want to check out the bottle, it’ll be proudly displayed at the Settlers Ridge Giant Eagle in Robinson from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
