HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A police officer was injured Wednesday morning in a crash in Beaver County.
Emergency dispatchers told Channel 11 the officer was involved in a crash on Gringo-Independence Road in Hopewell Township just after 8 a.m.
Channel 11 has learned the officer, 26, was treated and released from the hospital.
The officer's name was not released but he is a 2-year member of the Hopewell Township Police Department.
State police are investigating.

There was significant damage to his patrol car, dispatchers said.
