Penn State joins other colleges, universities in canceling spring break

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Penn State joined other colleges and universities on Monday in canceling spring break.

Plans for Penn State’s spring semester include a later start in January, and hybrid learning.

Students will be asked to self-isolate for at least one week before returning to campus for the semester.

Mandatory mask-wearing and random testing will continue on campus.

In-person learning starts back up Monday in at least 5 local school districts
