Pennsylvania Lottery sells first $1 million Powerball ticket online

MIDDLETOWN, Pa, — Someone is $1 million richer, and they bought the winning Powerball ticket from the Pennsylvania Lottery online.

It is the Pennsylvania Lottery’s first winner of that amount since the Powerball was added to the lottery’s online platform earlier this year.

Lottery online games can be played on a computer, tablet or mobile device.

The winning ticket matched all five white balls drawn for Saturday’s Powerball drawing: 02-06-40-42-55.

More than 25,000 other PA Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing.

The next Powerball drawing on Nov. 4 will be worth an estimated annuity value of $137 million, or $106.6 million cash.
