Person hurt during drive-by shooting on Pittsburgh street

PITTSBURGH — A drive-by shooting sent one person to a hospital early Tuesday morning after he was grazed by a bullet in Pittsburgh’s Manchester neighborhood, police said.

A ShotSpotter notification alerted police to multiple gunshots being fired just after 1 a.m. along Pennsylvania Avenue. When officers got to the area, a 911 call let them know someone was hurt.

The male whose arm was grazed by a bullet was found in the area of Decatur and Fulton streets and was then taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said. He told officers shots had been fired from a moving vehicle.

Police do not have a description of the vehicle.
