Pittsburgh customs officers seize $90K worth of counterfeit designer items from Hong Kong

ALLEGHENY CO., Pa. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized two shipments of counterfeit designer products near the Pittsburgh International Airport that would be worth $90,798 if authentic.

The shipments, coming from Hong Kong, were addressed to Western Pa. locations on Dec. 18, 2019.

Each one contained items not listed on their manifest. Officials said they found Rolex watches, Louis Vuitton bracelets, Amiri jeans, Gucci jackets and Louis Vuitton sweatshirts in one shipment.

The other contained various designer brand charms and jewelry, but experts confirmed everything that was seized was counterfeit.
