PITTSBURGH — The Transportation Security Administration stopped an Ohio woman at Pittsburgh International Airport Thursday with a loaded handgun in her carry-on bag.
TSA officials said the woman, from Austintown, Ohio was stopped at the checkpoint and agents discovered a .380 caliber handgun, fully loaded in her carry-on bag.
TSA agents contacted Allegheny County Police who detained the woman for questioning and took the firearm.

Last year, TSA officers found 32 firearms at the checkpoint.
Even if you have a concealed carry permit, you cannot bring a gun through a TSA checkpoint.
Offenders can face a hefty fine.
