Pittsburgh’s first responders are getting the Covid-19 vaccine

Pittsburgh Public Safety today said they have enough doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to distribute shots to all first responders.

The city’s police officers began receiving vaccinations this week, and EMS and firefighters began vaccinations around the Christmas holidays.

The Bureau of Public Safety has now secured enough vaccines to ensure all 1,500 first responders can get vaccinated.
