Federal officials said a search warrant was being served as part of the bank robbery investigation, and that's when George barricaded himself in the home.
“It can be tense going through this. We’re just glad and happy nobody got hurt and everything is good,” Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire said.
Investigators said George held up the Allegheny-Ludlum Brackenridge Federal Credit Union last week, making off with more than $100,000.
If convicted, George faces up to 25 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
