PITTSBURGH — The first two eaglets of 2019 have hatched in the Hays bald eagle next in Pittsburgh.
According to the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania, the second eaglet began to emerge from its egg around 3:50 p.m. Monday.
It's sibling hatched on Saturday, March 23. A small crack was seen in the egg on Saturday morning and the eaglet emerged a few hours later.
This is the 10th eaglet the pair have hatched.
