Second straight day of fewer than 100 new COVID-19 cases in Allegheny County

PITTSBURGH — Sunday marked the second straight day of fewer than 100 new COVID-19 cases reported in Allegheny County.

According to the health department, there were 82 new coronavirus cases reported since Saturday. The results come from 1,403 tests going back to July 13.

Health officials said there were four additional hospitalizations and two more deaths from the virus.

Statewide, the Department of Health reported 654 more positive cases of COVID-19. That brings the statewide total to 113,590 cases.
