Semi-annual Car Seat Trade-In program returning to Target in April

PITTSBURGH — Target is bringing back its popular program for parents across the country who are looking to revamp their baby gear.

Target’s semi-annual Car Seat Trade-In program started Monday, April 5, and will run to Saturday, April 17.

Those interested in the program can head out to any local Target store of their choosing to trade in their old car seats and get a 20% off coupon through the Target Circle app for a new seat, stroller or select baby necessities.

Coupons can be used in-store or online through May 1.

According to Target, the car seats will be recycled by Waste Management to be turned into pallets, plastic buckets and construction materials.

The Car Seat Trade-In program began in 2016 and has since recycled more than 1,100,000 car seats.
