South Fayette Township police are holding a contest to name their new bloodhound that just joined the department.
According to the Facebook post, the female dog will respond best to a name that is short and easy to say.
The dog's handler, Sgt. Mike Wesolek, will choose the winning name.
The winner will be invited to have their photo taken with the bloodhound for a local magazine.
The deadline to enter is Dec. 11. Click here to enter.
One entry per person will be accepted.
