Squirrel Hill man found guilty of stealing $100,000 from baseball, school groups.

A Squirrel Hill man has been found guilty of stealing more than $100,000 from community and baseball organizations for which he handled bank accounts.
It took the jury five hours to deliberate and convict Jeffrey Rosenthall, 66,  on all 19 counts in the thefts from the 14th Ward Baseball Association, the Taylor Allderdice High School junior varsity baseball team and the Taylor Allderdice High School Alumni Association.

Investigators said Rosenthal systematically depleted the groups’ bank accounts to pay for personal expenses including his mortgage, credit cards, and vehicles.
A sentencing hearing for Rosenthal is scheduled for Jan. 3, 2018.
