State police find missing Indiana Co. woman

ARMAGH, Pa. — UPDATE: Cheryl Wieromiej has been found safe, according to state police.


State police need the public’s help to find a missing Indiana County woman.

Cheryl Wieromiej, 71, of Armagh, was reported missing by her family Monday.

She was last seen at her home on Church Street in East Wheatfield Township.

She was driving a white, 2007 Pontiac G6 sedan with Pennsylvania registration DBG3922. There is a “COEXIST” bumper sticker on the rear of her car. Investigators believe she was on her way to an appointment in Indiana.

Wieromiej is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 160 lbs. with blue eyes and short brown hair. She was wearing glasses, a white shirt and dark, patterned leggings.

Foul play is not suspected, police say.
