Missing 82-year-old man from Greensburg found safe

GREENSBURG, Pa. — UPDATE 4:36 p.m.: State police said John Cassidy was found safe.

Pennsylvania State Police are searching for an 82-year-old man who is missing from Greensburg.

John Cassidy is described as 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 195 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Police said he was last seen wearing a brown jacket and jeans, and is driving a 2003 white Pontiac Vibe with Pennsylvania license plate PZB820J.

He was last seen on Madison Avenue in Pittsburgh on Saturday at 6:30 p.m., and police said he never made it to where he was supposed to be going on Armbrust Road in Greensburg.

Police believe Cassidy may be at “a special risk of harm or injury and may be confused.”
