Students, parents who were at Belle Vernon High School graduation may have been exposed to COVID-19, district says

BELLE VERNON, Pa. — Parents and students who attended the Belle Vernon Area High School graduation may have been exposed to COVID-19, according to a letter from the district.

The school district said someone who attended the graduation at James Weir Stadium last Wednesday has tested positive.

The graduation did include social distancing and masks, the superintendent said in the letter, but the health secretary is asking people who attended to monitor themselves for symptoms.
