The whole incident was caught on cellphone video, and that video went viral on social media.
Dana Gross, the victim's mother, said it was bullying in the worst capacity.
"God, my heart," she said. "Devastation."
The incident happened Sunday at their home in Beaver, but the video didn't surface until Thursday night. Gross said their daughter was too ashamed to tell her parents she was being bullied over a boy.
Police said four boys and three girls were in the room when it went down. Many of them filmed it, laughing as it happened.
"Disturbing, something that should've happened," said Chief Dan Madgar. "There were other people in the room that could have stepped to the plate and stop this but chose not to."
