Two moms connected through social media to save a life forge bond

PITTSBURGH — Six years ago two moms connected on social media, and saved the life of one of their children.

Channel 11 has been following Lucas Goeller’s journey since the gift of a liver saved his life.

Today he’s an 8-year-old boy and thriving.

Lucas’s mother and the mother of the little girl who saved his life are speaking out about the life-saving donation, and how they never would have found each other without the power of social media.
