ALLEGHENY CO., Pa. — A water main break caused a large road closure in Shaler Township Saturday morning.

According to police, Wible Run Road was closed between Soose Road and the lower section of Marzolf Road due to the break. The closure lasted about two hours.

One lane of Wible Run Road reopened at 10 a.m. with flaggers on both ends.

Hampton Shaler Water Authority reported that the water break involves a 12-inch main line -- estimating a 6-8 hour period for repair.
