What to expect: First presidential debate during COVID-19

CLEVELAND — The first presidential debate of 2020 will be held in Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday.

This will mark the candidates' first face-to-face showdown in this new world we live in.

When President Trump and Joe Biden greet each other on stage, they will not shake hands due to the global pandemic.

The candidates will also not exchange handshakes with the moderator.

As for masks, Trump and Biden will not wear them once on stage.

The size of the audience will be limited, and everyone in attendance will undergo testing for COVID-19.

The first presidential debate will cover six topics, including the pandemic, the economy and race in America.
