"I'm scared to death to be talking to you, but I feel like I have to do this for my family, for the community, to warm them," Lute said.

New Brighton police told Channel 11 Kreigh Moore is a person of interest. Moore bonded out of jail March 17 and is awaiting trial for an October home burglary in New Brighton where he was caught on surveillance camera casing a home and entering it when a family was inside.

Moore has not been charged in this case, and New Brighton police said he is one of many suspects. No arrests have been made.
