PITTSBURGH — A McKeesport woman will spend the next three to six years in state prison after she pleaded guilty to hitting and killing her neighbor with her car.

Jakiia Williams pleaded guilty to charges including homicide by vehicle while DUI in connection with hitting Leslie Robertson, 72, in 2018 in Harrison Village.

Robertson was critically injured and eventually succumbed to his injuries in March 2019.

Investigators said Robertson was not the person Williams was trying to hit. Her attorney, however, claimed she was acting in self-defense.
