Woman’s body found on PA highway 30 years ago identified

NORTHHAMPTON COUNTY, Pa. — After 30 years, Pennsylvania state police said they finally know the name of a woman whose body was found along the highway.

The woman was identified as Donna Kay Griffin, who was 37 years old at the time.

Construction workers found her body along Route 33 in Northampton County back in 1987.

She was living in the Philadelphia area after relocating from Georgia.

She was never reported missing, but a DNA test recently came back with a match to her child, troopers said.
