"If it's not yours, leave it alone," Snyder told WCCO.

Snyder said the glove compartment of his truck was open, but nothing had been taken.

“I think they were looking for change,” Snyder told the television station.

According to the Wright County Sheriff's Office, deputies have recently responded to 14 vehicle break-ins.

Snyder said he plans to install security cameras at his home, adding he has already bought floodlights to deter thieves.

"I spent 100 bucks on lights," Snyder told WCCO. "Why? Why do that? You shouldn't have to."

“Since (Aug. 9, 2019) Wright County Deputies have responded to multiple calls for service regarding theft from vehicles in the City of St Michael,” the Wright County Sheriff’s office said in a statement. “The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating these incidents and reminds the public to secure their valuables and contact law enforcement if they witness any suspicious activity.”
